Olifantsrus Accommodation
Only available to tourists preferring to set up their own camps and opting to live close to nature, Olifantsrus provide only ten campsites, accommodating a maximum of 80 persons at a time. The campsites are spacious and open and up to eight persons are allowed per campsite.
Campsites
Spacious campsites are set out along the fence, offering additional opportunities for game viewing all through the day and night. Electrical connection points, lights, water points and rubbish bins are provided at each campsite. A flat cement surface is available for making fire and guests can use their own grids to enjoy a barbecue.
Even though tall trees are scarce in this part of the Park, an awning
provides some protection against the harsh sun.
Campsite Features
Every two campsites share a facilities station where there are electrical connection points, a tap, a rubbish bin and a light. The campsites are spacious and easily accommodates the maximum of 8 persons allowed.

Bathroom facilities
Modern bathroom facilities are available in the centre of the camp. Specific mention can be made of the shower trays in the bathrooms, as these are particularly deep and give users the opportunity to enjoy a semi-bath to rinse off all the dust collected throughout the day.
This is also ideal for getting babies and young children clean. Hot- and cold-water showers, flushing toilets and basins are provided.
